| Food Recovery Initiative |
The Silicon Valley Food Recovery initiative reduces hunger by supporting a council of 10 nonprofits on the front lines of food distribution to those in need. The initiative also supports county-wide efforts to recover more food, as well as build capacity to distribute that food effectively and safely to the public. This initiative started the A La Carte food recovery program, and is currently partnering with Loaves & Fishes to administer it. |
